Children who study a foreign language at a young age achieve not only a higher level of excellence in that language, but foreign language learning also promotes developmental advancement and academic excellence in other areas.
In a fun and friendly environment, children will enjoy themselves as they are introduced to the French language. Using music, dance, crafts play, and other age-appropriate activities, children will be exposed to a new world of sounds and words which they will learn and retain through association and multi-sensory learning.
Our youngest friends will learn the French alphabet, counting to at least 25, words for animals, family members, body parts, food and more.
Parents are welcome!

*In an effort to bring AFL in line with standard procedures in Alliance Française chapters around the world, we request that all students in adult classes be members of AFL. Since AFL students are indeed students, they will be able to purchase a membership at the student rate of $25 per year. Being a member has its benefits ― members receive the e-newsletter, the Quoi de Neuf, a review of AFL's current events and/or news of happenings in the neighborhood with a French and/or francophone connection, and other notices such as "Save the Date" announcements. In addition, members have access to special prices and discounts for events and also to "member-only" events. These membership requirements do not apply to children's classes, however, we do encourage that families join so that they will be able to enjoy all of AFL's privileges. Find complete course descriptions on the highlighted titles below. See registration form for details and complete AFL policies. Please read AFL's policy regarding refundsAll classes will use a workbook/text available for purchase here or below under Textbooks & Materials :
