History

The Alliance Française de Louisville was founded in 1914 with a focus on cultural events such as plays and social gatherings. However, it was not until 1987 that Evelyn Cohn founded our school and AFL began offering French language classes to the Louisville community.

Classes

Alliance Française of Louisville offers a wide variety of classes for groups and individuals. Whether you are looking to start or continue learning French, AFL has a class to match! *Class registration takes place in September, December, March, and June.*

Memberships

Private Lessons

The Alliance Française de Louisville offers private instruction for individuals and groups in French. If you need flexibility to accommodate your busy schedule, or you prefer to learn at your own pace, private lessons with one of our instructors are for you.
