DESCRIPTION:A one-of-a-kind\, live music screening\, En plein dans l’œil (Right in The Eye)\, is a creation by Jean-François Alcoléa based on Georges Méliès cinematographic works. \nPresenting 12 films by French director Georges Méliès (1861-1938)\, the show presents a modern rendition of the poetic and playful universe of Georges Méliès by aptly serving both its images and its narrative. \nThis event is co-sponsored by the University of Louisville Department of Classical & Modern Languages\, the Alliance Française de Louisville\, and the Louisville Children’s Film Festival. \nFunded in part by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. \nAdmittance: $20 donation request to Alliance Française de Louisville \nDONATE
