    Kids’ French Language Camp

    When: Monday-Friday, 9am - 12pm, July 13-17, 2026 Prof : Fatima Nsais Location : Alliance Française de Louisville Classroom Course Description: Join us for a week of French immersion designed specifically children 6-13 years old led by AFL instructor Fatima Nsais. Every morning, we land in a new French-speaking country! 🌍 Campers stamp their passports, then dive into the food, music, colors, flags, games, and expressions of each destination. Beginners and young francophones welcome — kids learn French the fun way: by living it!

    When: Monday 6 - 8 pm, August 10 - September 7 (Five weeks) Prof : Fatima Nsais Location : Online (link will be provided) Required Materials: Schaum's Outline of French Grammar, Seventh Edition (ISBN 978-1260120950) Course Description: This five-week intensive review will help you strengthen your foundation with a focus on reflexive verbs, le passé composé, l’imparfait, the difference between the two, and future tenses. This class is designed to build and solidify your foundations in French, giving you the tools you need to move forward with confidence.

    When : Wednesday, 6:30 - 8:30 pm, July 29 - August 30, 2026 Prof : Joseph Mackenzie-Rollinson Location : Online (link will be provided) Course Description: Aimed at upper-intermediate/advanced students in the French language (5+ years of study), this class is  designed to improve and/or maintain your fluency in French, as well as branching out into learning and using colloquialisms and more advanced expressions in order to build as close to a native level of fluency as possible. Class discussions will be based on two formats: spontaneous exchanges on topics brought up by students and material assigned in advance by the instructor. Such material may include magazine articles, headline news focusing on contemporary issues, short stories, movies, poems, and songs.
