During the month of July the city of Avignon hosts a world-class theater festival. This year there were 1,500 plays produced in various venues. Performances varied in length from 30 minutes e.g., Cabaret to several hours Le Barbe Bleu.

Anne Harlan, AFL member, had the opportunity to attend this year’s festival. From the playbills and programs that paper the city, she has created these collages.
