Join the Alliance Française de Louisville for our Annual Dinner 2026! Celebrate an evening celebrating French language, Francophone culture, and the vibrant community that makes AFL special.

Gather with fellow students, members, instructors, staff, and friends on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 6:00–9:00 PM at the beautiful House of Marigold for a memorable evening of connection, conversation, and celebration. Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully prepared three-course dinner featuring seasonal ingredients, a choice of entrée, and an elegant dining experience surrounded by fellow lovers of French culture.

The evening will also include a special presentation in both French and English, highlighting the impact and achievements of the Alliance Française de Louisville. A cash bar will be available, as well as the opportunity to participate in a raffle.

Whether you’re a longtime member, a current student, a friend of AFL, or simply passionate about French language and culture, we invite you to join us for a night celebrating everything that makes our organization unique.

Plated Dinner

  • Bread + Salad (pre-set): Everyone receives
    • Artisan Bread with Herb-Whipped Butter
    • Kentucky Bibb Salad with Pickled Red Onion, Sliced Almonds, Goat Cheese & French Herb Vinaigrette (V, GF, N)
  • Main: Guest Pre-selects Chicken or Veggie:
    • Roasted Honey-Thyme Chicken with Apple Cider Broth (GF); Served with Rosemary Fingerling Potatoes & Sautéed Haricots Verts
    • Garden Plate (Vegan/Vegetarian/Gluten-Free Option)
    • Late Summer Garden Ratatouille (VEG, GF)
