A one-of-a-kind, live music screening, En plein dans l’œil (Right in The Eye), is a creation by Jean-François Alcoléa based on Georges Méliès cinematographic works.
Presenting 12 films by French director Georges Méliès (1861-1938), the show presents a modern rendition of the poetic and playful universe of Georges Méliès by aptly serving both its images and its narrative.
This event is co-sponsored by the University of Louisville Department of Classical & Modern Languages, the Alliance Française de Louisville, and the Louisville Children’s Film Festival.
Funded in part by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
Admittance: $20 donation request to Alliance Française de Louisville
