Join AFL Board Members Victoria Boggs and Megan Scott for the Alliance Française de Louisville's Fall Book Club! This fall, we'll be reading a series of engaging French readers by France Dubin, perfect for pre-intermediate (A2) learners looking to build confidence through authentic reading and lively discussion. Book Club will meet at The Wine Room on Frankfort Avenue. Participants are expected to purchase their own copies of each book and read the assigned title before each meeting so everyone can fully participate in the discussion. Participants are not required to attend each meeting, however it is encouraged.  Whether you're looking to improve your French, connect with fellow Francophiles, or simply enjoy a good story over a glass of wine, our Fall Book Club is a fun and welcoming way to practice your French in a relaxed setting. Book Club is free for Alliance Française de Louisville members, but space is limited. Sign up for one, two, or all three sessions today, to reserve your spot.

  • Saturday, November 14, 2026: Dîner à Paris, France Dubin
    • Jacqueline, a middle aged American woman, is happily married to Raphaël, the owner of a charming little restaurant in Paris. She absolutely loves her life in this city. But a sudden tragedy derails her perfect life.
