Culturethèque USA – Online Multimedia Library
We are happy to announce an amazing membership benefit for the Alliance Française de Louisville. Introducing Culturethèque USA – an online multimedia library.
From your personal computer, tablet, or smartphone, access your favorite French magazines, view concerts and shows, listen to lectures, introduce children to French language and culture, and read e-books and comics. This service is FREE for all current Alliance Française de Louisville members.
How to create a new account?
- Visit the Culturethèque website.
- By default, the page will be in French. If you wish, you can click the Language button at the top of the page to change to English.
- Click the black “S’inscrire” button (or “Sign Up” in English).
- Create your login using the form provided. All fields are required.
- Select “États-Unis” as the country. (This will not be translated into English.)
- Choose Alliance Française de Louisville as your Établissement/Establishment).
After you submit your request, it will be forwarded to our office for approval. If you have not received an approval within a week, please contact us at bonjour@aflouisville.ort or by phone at 502‑420‑0800.
Note that the subscription is valid for one year. At the end of the year, you will be asked to contact us to renew your subscription. Note that you must be a current member of the AFL for us to renew the subscription.
DELF/DALF/TEF Exams
At this time, the AFL does not offer French language certification exams. If you are interested in obtaining a French language proficiency certification for work, school, or travel purposes, please visit France Education Internationale.
