A Celebration of French-American Friendship at this April Speaker Series Event!
In 1825, General Lafayette, of American Revolution fame, visited the Browns at Liberty Hall in Frankfort, KY during his farewell tour of the newly “united states.” Our American ideals became his.
AFL invites you to sip bourbon and champagne with Julien Pierre Icher, Founder and President of the Lafayette Trail Marker Inc. At age 24, Julien accompanied President Macron to Washington D.C. on a cultural mission. Now at age 29, Julien has placed more than 115 historic markers mapping Lafayette’s 1824-25 tour, including one at Liberty Hall. His talk will explore our historical bonds of friendship with the French people and the critical role that Lafayette played in the formation of our country.
