Join Jackie as she takes us on a pictorial journey to this UNESCO World Heritage site that is visited by more 3 million people each year. She sojourned there for a week with other pilgrims and saw the Mont-Saint-Michel from the inside. The granite island is situated on the border of Normandy and Brittany in northwestern France along the English Channel. This 11th-century Benedictine abbey was an important pilgrimage of faith during the Middle Ages. Barely bigger than it’s gothic abbey, the island is cut off from land twice a day at high tide.
