September 16 - November 18, 2026 | Wednesday | 6 - 8 PM Prof: Thomas Lawrence Location: AFL Office | 9505 Williamsburg Plaza, Suite 101 Required Materials: Inspire A2 Book Set Course Description: Aimed at pre-intermediate students in the French language (1-2 years of study), this class will continue developing all four linguistic skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Study of vocabulary, grammar, and culture will still be fully integrated within the course and taught in context. Prerequisite: A2.1 or placement by the instructor

September 15 - November 17, 2026 | Tuesday| 10 AM - 12 PM Prof: Sophie Meena Location: AFL Office | 9505 Williamsburg Plaza, Suite 101 Required Materials: Inspire B1 Book Set Course Description: The B1.1 course is geared toward learners who have completed 1-2 years of French and who have a solid foundation of basic vocabulary and grammar. This course helps you strengthen your reading, writing, listening, and speaking abilities through engaging communicative activities and practical, project-based learning, with more emphasis on communicating with native speakers in more complex situations. Prerequisite: All available A2 courses or placement by instructor.
